Spatial Distribution

The project came with a straight forward brief, a casual wine bar and cafe with an in-house bakery. Located in Dubai and targeted mostly towards tourists, cafe 'Colaba', sits within a shopping district. The space divided into 3 parts, the first an informal semi-open seating and a takeaway bakery counter, seen from the street primarily aims to attract tourists walking by. Second, the indoor space accommodates both, booth seating at the bar and semi-private group seatings closer to the back of the cafe. The last is the back of the house consisting of the kitchen and restrooms.
